We welcome you to our web site in hopes that if you are not yet a member of our Party, that you will discover something in your search that will inspire a desire to be part of a Progressive and Grass Roots organization that acts on the principles of equality across all people, individual liberty, belief in a transparent democracy, and the value of public service.

All registered Democrats who reside in Broomfield County are considered bona fide members of the Democratic Party of Broomfield.

We encourage members to become active and participate in Party functions, and to seek decision-making positions within the Party.

Broomfield Democrats, we really got the job done! We are turning Broomfield, as well as Colorado blue.

Let’s take just a minute to reflect on what we actually did. We just voted for:
• Improved education
• Increased environmental protection
• Smarter fiscal policy
• Responsible use of our armed forces and increased national security
• High quality, low cost health care
• Equal rights
• And more

 

If I were to read this list without any context, I would believe I was reading a list of social issues that improve our lives, and the lives of our kids. It looks like a list I could pick from to volunteer some free time or money.
And that is EXACTLY what it is.

I am not a Democrat because my family is. I am not a Democrat because I always have been. I am a Democrat because I really believe in everything on that list. I am active in the party because I do have a little free time and money to donate to a worthy cause. In fact….when I donate a little time or money to the party…. I am donating to MANY great causes!

And that is why this election was the beginning and not the end. It’s the beginning of these improvements. And to continue carrying these worthy causes forward, we all must continue to work together.

The election is but a brief period. That list of issues we care about is forever. Look at it and tell me, what is more important to our society than that list?

Please join me and your great Democratic neighbors, as we continue to fight for these important causes! We all must volunteer a small amount of time and/or money.

Otherwise, this isn’t the beginning — it’s just a point in time.
